Fleet management is an integral part of Supply chain management. Our clients were mainly small businesses with fleets smaller between 30 to 70 vehicles. Purchasing off the shelf enterprise systems was outside their operating costs. kCube worked with Open Source Fleet management system OpenGTS. The software was customized to create relevant report and performance metrics for reducing operating costs. Customs map layers were also created to integrate with OpenGTS. Clustering algorithms were implemented to summarize trip statistics.
